FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a FREE 30-minute introductory consultation to all interested customers. My prices are for individual sessions which last up to 50 minutes (longer sessions prove to be less effective). I do not charge for emails, texts or brief check-in calls (if needed) between the sessions. I do not accept insurance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will start with an initial FREE conversation, usually lasting about 30 minutes, to get to know each other and to check whether we are a match. If you decide to continue working with me, we will sign a simple agreement that will specify the details of our coaching relationship. Occasionally, I may ask you to read something of relevance, keep a journal or do an activity that will help you accomplish your goals. But the most important requirement is that you are present and engaged in the dialogue, and work on your issues. After all, it is about someone very important: you!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am trained in several coaching modalities including Motivational Interviewing, Immunity to Change, Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), Developmental Coaching and Structural Dynamics. I have trained with Coach Training Alliance (credentials pending), Minds At Work, Coaches Rising and other professional programs. I am a graduate of The Ohio State University and the Kellogg School of Management, and a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF).
