FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do my best to work with my customers, but my estimates do not have a lot of flexibility. Both a set price or an hourly based clean not only takes into account the labor, but includes overhead like supply costs (as I use my own), auto/gas, and self employment tax . I would please ask that you do not compare my pricing with previous cleaners or others from friends/family. Cleaners are not the same in performance, effort, or what is considered "clean or cleaning". The majority of what is included on my regular cleaning list is considered part of most other cleaner's deep cleanings. I do offer referral discounts, holiday discounts, and a prepayment discount for clients that choose to pay for cleanings in advance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to get basic information from the customer like what kind of cleaning, how often, info about the inside of the home, etc...This is generally done via text or phone. I then schedule a day and time to meet the new client and see the property. This gives them the opportunity to meet who will be in their home and ask any questions. It also gives me the opportunity to see the home and any ask questions as well. Prior to the visit I send via email or text info regarding pricing and other helpful info regarding standards I have for rescheduling, pets, late fees, etc... At the end of the visit I talk about my initial estimate and if agreed upon schedule a day and time to begin.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Prior to COVID I was an ER nurse for 18 1/2 years. This background helps me in the cleaning profession as I have the personality of being detail oriented, thorough, organized, and multi task well
