- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Small jobs such as replacing a few outlets, switches or simple lighting, I can usually fix on the spot So I often offer an hourly rate for such. Medium and larger jobs ( such as any service equipment upgrade, circuit breaker panel replacements or renovations) In order give a fair price, I prefer to look at and estimate because there are so many variables that affect pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe the first place to start is to listen to the customers concerns and what's important to them. Then it is my job to assess the situation, and figure out the right solution that fits the needs of the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a teacher for the electrical apprenticeship program I have certificates in blueprint reading, estimating, and over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry.
