- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are as follows; The minimum fee is $125.+ tax Roaches start at $125.00 Mice start at $125.00 flies or ants $125. + tx for residential services for mice, most insects, roaches, silverfish and ants start at $125. per kitchen and bathrooms (as a set) but not always limited to that. This would include a detailed inspection - (90% of good Pest Control) treatments, monitors and recommendations. Fogging Starts at $250-$350 depending on property size and levels for fleas, roaches, mites, mosquitoes, flies etc. An industrial Micro injector fogging machine with pressurized wand for crack and crevice bedbug work as well as broadcasting. Rats (different species) Treatments start at $250.00 includes exterior inspections & treatments for rat borrows. Wasps, Bees, Hornets Starts $225.00-$350.00 For Commercial establishments Deli, diners, fast food, restaurants, first service is called a clean outs to bring all pest under control, installation of tamper proof rodent B/S , mechanical devices, monitors etc. which starts at $150. monthly service starts at $60. BEDBUGS inspection starts at $125. Treatments starts at $275. 1st bdrm and $125, for every room after that. I don't price per square footage because the room can be massive but the infestation can just be limited to one new piece of furniture. Aside from the stress and nuisance of a bug or rodent infestation on your property, unwanted pests pose a threat to health and safety and can cause significant damage to a home or business. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do my best to make the customer feel comfortable enjoying mutual respect. I invite them to ask me any questions, I ask a few questions and invite them to express their concerns, I provide a base line fee for that particular service, provide a detailed prep sheet (if its bedbugs) provide a prepsheet, schedule the appt., conduct a detailed inspection, make recommendations, treat and provide a company receipt/ invoice. I can return 2 weeks later for a follow up perimeter treatment if needed or desired for NO Charge or additional exspense. The best surprise is none and we are Never wrong for doing the right thing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a 7F commercial food processing and handling certification, and 7A for residential and commercial treatment services. I have worked for major pest control companies servicing N.Y.C.M.T.A. Bus depots, Path Mark and A&P accounts which I would inspect, service and grade them in 96 stores from Mystic sea port to the Bronx, the Waldorf Astoria, Marriott, Best Western and many other major chain hotels, four Pace Universities Campuses including Pleasantville, Bedford & white Plains NY, many restaurants and large apt buildings, Condos & homes. That was a wonderful rewarding experience which lead me to open my business. Before pest control, I worked as a case manager for Special needs individuals and supportive employment services for F.E.G.S. and Y.A.I. organizations helping individuals with abilities to be more independent for over 10 years. As a case mgr. when writing case notes to qualify funding for services, we must be very detailed and accurate meaning cross all T's & dot your I's, over looking/ minimizing nothing- everything matters. I just transferred those skills to pest control with compassion for others less fortunate or just in need of helpful support to maximize God's perfect peace and comfort in homes and work places.
