Introduction: I go with the flow. Each event is different, and a professional has to have the ability to adapt to any occasion and situation. At a moments notice. In the end everyone is taken care of, has a great experience, the host is given kudos for planning such a great event, and I am seen as a wonderful employee and asset to to the hospitality profession. I easily gravitate to people and want to experience a great time with them. Ive been in the hospitality industry since I was 15. Ive held every front of the house position, including hostess, coatcheck, server, bartender, and manager. Ive been in the position of literally being the 1st impression for the establishment. I like that responsibility. I like to know Im the opening act, the one that sets the tone.
