The team at Harvest and Revel was incredible to work with for planning our wedding. Sara Elise was always professional, responsive and handled many of the details of our wedding. Her staff that came in to work the event were incredible -- friendly, accommodating, and a true team that banded together to make the night great! We had ALL our guests comment on how delicious the food was, and on top of that, it was sustainable, local and good for us and the earth. Cannot recommend the ladies at Harvest and Revel enough!Jul 10, 2016Verified

Wedding and Event Catering
Absolutely delighted. Sara Elise and her fabulous team catered a birthday brunch for over 50 people. The menu was fresh, creative and delicious. Guests raved over "the best granola I've ever had" and the "amazing root vegetable hash." Setup and service were flawless, warm and friendly. Presentation was lovely right down to the very pretty eco-friendly tableware provided. We felt we totally lucked out by discovering Sara Elise and the responsive care from Ora, Martine and Shawn. Couldn't recommend Harvest & Revel any more highly.May 24, 2016Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We love hearing about our client's vision for their event before providing them with a quote. If they would like to proceed, they fill out a deposit form and we create a customized menu for them. The deposit form does not mean that the client is committing to the initial menu we provide for them- but it just means that they are committing to working with us for their catering needs. From there, we can edit the menu as much as the client sees fit to make sure that all of their desires are accounted for. We can also handle rentals, staffing, beverages, coffee & tea service, takeaway treats for guests, table design, and disposables if needed as well.
- What types of customers have you worked with?We provide private chef services for various families and artist retreats in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Hamptons; provide catering in corporations, schools, community art centers, and private homes for birthday parties, baby showers, weddings, bat and bar mitzvahs, seasonal brunches, dinner parties, cocktail parties, etc.; as well as provide nutrition and holistic wellness mentorship for curriculum, mentorship programs, and individuals.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project? It's helpful when clients come to us already knowing the type of meal they want to have catered (breakfast, brunch, lunch, cocktail hour, dinner, dessert, snacks, etc.), the number of guests (rough estimate), if the group has any pertinent allergies or dietary restrictions, the venue location and details (if there is a stove, oven, fridge, sink), and if they need any additional services such as rentals, staff, eco-friendly disposable plateware, bartender service, etc. It is also extremely helpful when clients have an idea of their budget and let us know it ahead of time.
