Joshua repaired the video card issues that I was having with my 2011 MacBook Pro with some incredible computer genius expertise that was beyond both me and Apple who wouldn't even repair a machine of mine's particular vintage. I need to clarify here that I’m not positive about the name of the company! I just remember that his last name was FRIED ... He was reliable, and was clearly very eager to solve my problem. In the end, he solved it only up to a point: the problem was back within a day...! Update: Joshua ( Mr Fried) made a point of remedying the problem: he was determined to make sure that my computer would no longer give me grief in the way I had been experiencing. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I normally charge by the hour, with a one hour minimum unless you bring the unit(s) to me. No charge for travel within Manhattan, most of Brooklyn, and some of Queens.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Communicate, clarify, show up, satisfy. Seriously, communication is key. Also backups.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I'm Apple certified (ACHDT), but really, that's just a label. 18 years professional experience were the main training. And yes, I did study programming at NYU.
