FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As they say, "necessity is the mother of invention". I graduated college with lots of experience in illustration and the fine arts and just a little experience with computers. Unfortunately, in the next five years the creative and graphics industries moved entirely to digital media! I worked and learned in my free time toward learning the required software and found that I loved the ease and versatility of the digital tools just as much as the conventional ones.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Graphics clients Logos Website design Print, poster and CD art design Illustration Retouching Powerpoint presentations Other clients, varied disciplines Letter writing Business proposals Grant/donation requests Proofreading and editing
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I prefer clients to have a goal in mind before they approach a designer. I really enjoy helping a client develop their ideas but it can be time-consuming. If the client has a goal in mind when they walk in the room, I am much better informed and the process can go much more smoothly.
