Marisa is great. She arrived at the bridal suite before the bride did! By the first 20 minutes, we all knew that we adored her. She was personable and yet professional. She asked my daughter (the bride) how close she could get to her during the ceremony. I really appreciated that. By the close of the evening she was like an old friend and we hugged goodbye.
The next day I got to see a few of the pictures from the wedding and I was stunned at how beautiful they were. I loved the way they weren't just the typical "American Gothic" poses of people standing side by side, but more candid pictures captured in a beautiful and romantic moment.
I highly recommended Marisa.

If you would like to have your memories and moments captured on film rather than staged by photographer, then Marisa is your lady.
She has an uncanny ability to capture all of the behind the scenes moments of your wedding day without drawing any attention to herself. It was important to me that I enjoyed the day and spent it with everyone I cared about rather than pose for pictures and Marisa completely understood this. She was able to quickly snap a couple of my father's 'must have' portraits and move us back into our reception.
I am truly in awe of some of the candids that I have seen thus far and cannot believe she was able to capture some of our most special memories.
Photography can be one of the most expensive parts of your wedding but Marisa is worth every penny and is by far one of the most affordable around!

My husband and I hired Marisa to photograph our wedding last year after seeing her work online, and we could not have been more pleased. Her photos were fabulous and unique, she was very discreet during the ceremony (everyone said they didn't even notice her, which was so wonderful), and she was friendly and professional with our guests. I love Marisa's work we have her take pics for our x-mas card and other events she goes out of her way to take a great photo and capture the moment and is not afraid to do anything or go anywhere to get the photos. I recommend her to all my friends and family.

Marisa was both the photographer and makeup artist for our wedding last year. She did an excellent job at both! I received so many compliments on the photos, to the point where some of my friends were jealous at how their wedding photos were more "traditional". Marisa is very personable and willing to work with you. And did I mention reasonably priced! I couldn't have asked for a better vendor! Thanks Marisa!
