FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer two pricing options. If your kitchen or countertop is under 60 inches in length and 26 inches in width, you may qualify for a special remnant price. In these cases, we can often use leftover stone from larger slabs, which helps you avoid the cost of purchasing a full slab and saves you money. Remnant projects start at 55 $ per square foot fabricated delivered and installed, depending on how far is your location and the type of material.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by asking for rough measurements of your project. Based on those dimensions, we provide an estimated price using our square-foot rate. If the estimate works for you, we schedule a visit to take exact measurements and create templates. During this visit, we also bring material samples for you to choose from and collect the deposit to move forward with the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up in a family of stone professionals—two of my brothers own stone shops—and I learned the trade hands-on by working with them whenever I wasn’t studying. While I hold a master’s degree, stonework has always been part of my life. This combination of formal education and real-world, family-taught experience gives me both technical knowledge and a deep understanding of the craft.
