I felt stuck for awhile with my guitar playing for awhile, but one lesson with Ramiro had me reinvigorated. He is very knowledgeable/passionate of music and is very kind and responsive answering any questions you might have. He is visual with his lessons, so that you really understand and he sends you with exciting new things to work on after each. Ramiro is not only a great teacher, but a great guitarist as well and I highly recommended anyone looking to hire him to check out his videos on YouTube.Apr 29, 2020Verified
Ramiro and I have been working together for about two years. First… Ramiro is an excellent guitar player and has an in-depth knowledge of the fingerboard and music theory. He brings taste and style to his playing not just flash. He’s very comfortable with many different styles and plays acoustic as well as electric guitars. Ramiro is very easy to be with he has a gentle intelligence and is always respectful of others. I enjoy the time I spend with him and always learn a lot about how to play the guitar and make music. He is patient and never judgemental. I highly recommend him as a teacher.Sep 27, 2019

Ramiro came as a duet and it couldn’t have been better. They played longer than the original hour we agreed upon, and their ability to deliver a beautiful set was impressive. Highly recommend!!Mar 8, 2020Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Lessons: - Discounts are offered if student pays a whole month in advance! Music Entertainment: - My minimum fee for a solo guitar set is $200 for a 3-hour set. - There are many types of events, and I am happy to offer price quotes up to a 6-piece band, to meet your budget and music needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? At first, the customer will send me a message or e-mail. After laying out the basic request (Lesson or Entertainment) and talking through some expectations, we will schedule a call to complete all details about the service. Music Entertainment: We will reach a final agreement after all specifics have been discussed. My clients often provide an initial deposit to hold the date, in which case we will have a contract, if desired, to hold the specified date. I understand different client's expectacions and accept being paid in full the day of the event. Lessons: Our first lesson will be the time to get to know each other, and for me to learn your goals and aspirations as well as understand your motivations. That will determine the plans in the lessons ahead to help you progress the fastest and enjoy the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? The guitar has been with me for 13+ years. I began when I was 11 and I am now 24. I have a degree in Jazz Composition (Summa Cum Laude) from Berklee College of Music, and I studied privately with the best guitarists of the industry ranging from Heavy Metal to Tango to Jazz, before becoming a professional musician myself.
