Zalimar Photography (Mara Zalite)

Mara Zalite is a Sunset Park, Brooklyn-based event photographer who believes in taking the time to get the right shots and will have edited photos back to you within 72 hours (and sometimes quicker if you need!). She does not set image count limits on any of her projects. Mara loves catching the in-between moments that no one notices, but the ones that make any event amazing. Corporate parties, kids' birthdays, bridal and baby showers, recitals, music performances, sports events in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Jersey City, Hoboken, and beyond! When not creating things, Mara leads the New York Latvian folk dancing group, “Jumalīte” after founding it with her cousin in 2021. Mara ran an art studio in Dumbo, Brooklyn for 4 years and is great with toddlers, kids, teens, and adults - a people person! Have an idea for working together or just want to say hi?
