10 years experience, and highly trained in a neuroscience based form of Acupuncture called Neuropuncture and Dry Needling. Joe is absolutely phenomenal. I’m a full time personal trainer and marathoner so I’m constantly hitting the pavement. I first started coming to Joe in November for right knee pain (was told by my physician that I had arthritis). Running became a lot less fun, always experienced pain during and afterwards and no other form of treatment was working. After two sessions with Joe in 2024, I had zero pain during my Tokyo Marathon training and still pain free as of today! I’m currently seeing him for a couple of other muscles group which have so far progressed to about 80% pain free after my first session. This man’s work is beyond exceptional and highly recommended.

Joe is amazing!!! He specializes in neuro acupuncture and trigger point acupuncture using stim. I have been to several acupuncturists but Joe is the only one who has been able to get to the really deep muscle tension. Has been a game changer.

I initially went to see Joe Hoots because of an arthritis flare up in my knee that was incredibly painful. I limped into his office in Williamsburg on a Monday afternoon and walked out almost pain free. Hoots is a wizard and I continue to see him for a myriad of issues. Throughout the appointment, Joe made sure I was comfortable. While the experience was new to me, I still felt welcomed. Prior to the acupuncture I was experiencing headaches and after couple of sessions they had completely stopped. I had a wonderful experience and will continue with sessions.
