My name is Lisa Dunefsky and for the past 13 years I have worked as a Home Stager and Interior Decorator in Westchester, Brooklyn and NYC.
Some common themes that I have encountered over the years were clients wanting to make home improvements, but either felt overwhelmed by all of the options out there, they weren't quite sure what their design style was or they just didn't think they had the budget to do so. I hired Lisa to help with design and material selection for my bathroom renovation. Lisa was absolutely terrific - very professional, extremely responsive and creative. She's got phenomenal taste and proposed ideas and solutions I wouldn't have thought of otherwise. Most importantly she was willing to work with me in a way that was very comfortable for me -- I was nervous about bringing such a small project to an interiordesigner -- but she was willing to consult with me as needed - which is exactly what I wanted. At the same time she brought creativity and energy to the project. She was very mindful of my budget, and proposed ways for me to save money along the way. Very professional. I would highly recommend her - can't say enough good things about her and can't wait to use her for my next project - the kitchen!!!

Finding an interior decorator is a lot like dating. You speak to a bunch of people and eventually decide to roll the dice and commit. You hope it works out because you are going to be working closely together for a while. I lucked out. Lisa was a perfect match for me and my project. She was very collaborative, but direct when she needed to be. Her instincts are great. She is very thorough and did a fantastic job keeping the project on budget so you don't have to worry about any of the details. She is reliable, trustworthy and hard working. She cares about you and the project. My apartment looks great. We added a lot of personal touches and did so on a modest budget. In fact, Lisa finds every way she can to save you money so she more than pays for herself. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a highly collaborative and patient design parter!

Lisa is one of the most innovative and client service oriented professionals with whom I worked. She quickly assessed what was needed to transform my apartment. Lisa is a trouper and just fantastic to work with.
Our broker recommended working with her to stage our apartment. We engaged Lisa right before the onset of the pandemic, and our best-laid plans had to be put on hold for a few months until restrictions were lifted. We have no sense of design and left it all in her (good) hands.
She transformed our apartment while making the process as painless as possible for us. Lisa dealt with all the parties, from obtaining COIs to arranging movers and even recommended moving and cleaning companies. She chose beautiful pieces to maximize the usage of our space and selected gorgeous accents that made the place inviting and stylish.
Lisa truly looked out for our interest: what would work best to attract a buyer for our apartment in our building and neighborhood. We are in contract, in the middle of a pandemic, in no small reason due to her work.
All throughout Lisa has been communicative, professional and terrific. We are so grateful.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have created flat fee pricing for the online serivces that I offer so clients can feel comfortable knowing the numbers upfront.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to learn as much as possible about my clients. A questionnaire is sent out and we schedule a zoom call to talk about their dream space. I like to understand how my clients 'live' in their home. For example do your kids/pets rule your house, or are you a neat freak constantly cleaning etc. I like to find out what is truly important to them.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Interior Design and styling has been a part of my life since I was a small child. My training is not formal, but innate. I have always been the girl that friends say 'can you help me design my apartment' and I love your apartment, where did you get that', etc?
I received my certification in Home Staging in 2010
