I had a wonderful time working with Isy on sprucing up my small studio space in Brooklyn! She started with the fundamentals - wall color, lighting, and window treatments - and then we worked on storage solutions to hide an immense amount of clutter accrued over the years. It was my first time working with an interior designer, but Isy was very open to my feedback and suggestions and it felt like a true partnership to get the place into the state it is now. Especially in today's NYC rental market, I'm glad the financial investment I made went towards upgrading my space and setting the foundation for (hopefully) years of evolution to come.

Isy was phenomenal in executing and bringing to fruition the vision I had for my new West Village apartment. Isy coordinated and arranged all of the painting (which was challenging given how much work needed to be done), electrical work (also difficult given the concrete walls), and sourced most of the furniture and decor. Throughout the process Isy was responsive, patient, knowledgeable, and reassuring — all qualities that make her an excellent interior designer. Would absolutely work with her again.

I had a great experience working with Isy to make some updates to two rooms in our house - adding a banquette and counter to our kitchen, and adding some built in shelves and a desk to our office. Isy was great in understanding what I wanted and turning it into a great design, and took care of coordinating the contractors, and finding all the materials. We love the work that was done and would love to work with Isy again!

Isy is THE BEST! I would recommend her without a single hesitation and you would be lucky to have her. She set herself apart from the start with her quick response to my inquiry and offer to visit my home for the consultation--no other designers offered that! By the end of our consult my mind was made up and I've had no regrets. I live in two bedroom Brooklyn apt and the project was to spruce it up without buying any major furniture. Isy was able to work within my budget (~4K) and made me feel as though I was a VIP client, even though my project was relatively small. She really cares about her work and if you're satisfied. She wants you to love the look and gets that she is helping you make your home your own special sanctuary. I have never used a designer, but after working with Isy I would def do it again and will work with her to do my bedroom next year! Isy strikes a wonderful balance between offering a design plan and working with your feedback. She also knows how to bring you to a decision when you're stuck in an indecisive place. She was excellent as meeting me where I was in terms of communication and was willing to text and email freely in response to my questions. The entire design included an absolutely amazing mural wallpaper on a large feature wall in my living room, paint for accent wall, a rug, ottoman, pendant lights in the kitchen, sofa pillows, wall art, and window treatments. Isy came to my apartment to make sure wallpaper and paint were completed as intended. The contractors she works with are equally talented and kind. Everything in my open concept space now has the cohesive look and feel I could never achieve on my own. I adore my new space and have received many compliments—not to mention it looks far far better on my zoom calls for work! In all, Isy just goes above and beyond. You get incredible value for the price she is charging. She is an expert and brings a wonderful attitude. Hire her!

Isy is a great interior designer. Very available with great taste and reasonable rates. She’s very engaged with her clients and listens to their needs while giving an honest opinion. She’s designed our whole house Out East in our North Fork. She’s got good taste and gives great advise. She’s quick, professional and can do high end design. We went for scandinavian modern and she was spot on with the mood boards and shopping list. I’d hire her again in the future.

Pricing is dependent on a few factors: size of the space, complexity etc, but I generally try and keep my pricing as attractive as possible as I’m still growing my business.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
10+ years working in art and design for some of the most prestigious art auction houses in the world.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After a long career in art I decided to make a pivot to interior design during the pandemic. I took on a job working for an interior design company to learn the business and then branched out on my own - best decision I’ve ever made!
