We love our house and this is mainly because of how beautiful it looks after Prutha's expert designing. This is our second house where we have used Prutha's interior designing services and our interiors is always one of the main item of focus when friends visit us. We always get so many compliments. Her unique suggestions and out of the box design ideas are what appeal to us the most.
Overall the process was very smooth and timely. We were constructing a new house and Prutha created plans, mood-boards, picked finishes and showed us samples of the materials before working with our contractor to get the design implemented. Once construction was completed Prutha provided options for furniture, window treatments, and artwork and helped us put it all together in a pain free way. And while doing all this, the key for us was to stay within our budget, which she was always mindful of.
We truly believe that it was her style and design of our first house, that allowed us to sell that house within the first week of listing during a saturated real estate market.
Would highly recommend Prutha for your next project.

Since the pandemic working from home all the time, I really wanted and needed a living room and kitchen that I would be happy to be in but struggled to do anything about it myself. I found Prutha and she was not only easy to work with but super creative and knowledgeable. She helped with putting together a floor plan for my living room, finding the right furniture for it, adding plants and accessories into the space, and adding a high top dining table and counter stools to help separate the dining area from the living area in my small manhattan apartment. I felt very comfortable entrusting her with my home right from our first discussion. It turned out even better than I could’ve imagined, she was worth every penny.

Prutha is the best interior designer I have ever worked with. I’ve hired a couple before that were on the cheaper side and I got what I paid for. Prutha is very detail oriented, communicative and most of all creative! We worked together on furnishing my manhattan apartment with modern yet eclectic furniture, rugs, artwork, accessories and drapery. I love my space and always get several compliments on my decor when I have (had) friends over. Looking forward to the next apartment we do together.

In full disclosure off the bat, Prutha is a very close friend of ours. That being said, we hired her in a professional capacity and compensated her as such for the purposes of some redesign work in our new single family home. We had a previous, local interior designer whose work we were happy with, but we hired Prutha because we have consistently loved her design aesthetic and respected her intelligence and passion.
The scope of work included a full design of our Coach House (used as an Airbnb) that was just short of a gut, furniture and accessories for our master bedroom and our first floor (kitchen and living area), and storage design for the living room. The budgets and diversity of work were
I can say I was very most pleasantly surprised in the amount of detail she went into from measurements, accessories, and most importantly- specific instructions for developers, especially when she had an inkling they would screw things up. Even when they did inevitably make a mistake, Prutha was able to think on her feet and make a correction with minimal fanfare. Those attributes were additionally impressive considering that we trusted her to work remotely after an initial onsite visit.
The cohesiveness of the spaces are wonderful, even if the basic expectation. The pops of color, and the specific colors (think bold emerald greens) are even more aesthetically pleasing, but in a warm homey way. Many designers can create spaces that look amazing for a magazine. Our space is now beautiful, robust, livable and full of warmth.
One last thing to mention is that we had a constantly changing budget due to COVID wreaking havoc on the normalcy of finances. Prutha pivoted accordingly and always gave us options within our budget and still would shoot off options that she loved that might have been a little outside our budget. That gave us the freedom to play with our budget when we could to get unique pieces we normally wouldn't think to acquire.
We continue to work with Prutha and have at least two large projects (~$75K, let's pray not more) in the near future with her. We recommend Prutha without reservation and with the utmost confidence.
