FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My design fee is a flat rate based on your project's scope, so you know the cost upfront before we start. For furniture, fixtures, and materials, I charge a procurement fee as a percentage of what we purchase together - and I pass along all trade discounts in full, so you still get the best possible price on every piece. Your first consultation is free, with no obligation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process starts with a phone consultation to understand your project and vision. From there, I schedule an in-person site visit to see the space firsthand, followed by a detailed questionnaire so I can get to know how you live, what you love, and what isn't currently working. Once I have a full picture, I move into concept development - mood boards, layout options, and material selections - and present the design for your feedback before we finalize anything. From there, I handle procurement and oversee installation from start to finish, so you're supported through every stage.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Germany and a Master's degree in Architecture from The Cooper Union in New York City. Since then, I've worked as an architectural and interior designer for firms across Europe, Asia, and the United States, with a focus on high-end residential design.
