Fluent City

Introduction: Fluent City classes are geared towards learning, but we also make sure that the process is super fun. Our energetic and approachable teachers create a relaxed environment for you to take on the challenge of learning a language alongside like-minded people. There is a huge difference between knowing how to speak a language and knowing how to teach it, and we pride ourselves on hiring teachers who are ridiculously good at what they do: explaining how the language works and getting you to speak it immediately. Our beginner classes are usually taught by non-native speakers…on purpose! They are often Americans who learned the language themselves as adults. Our teachers understand, firsthand, everything that goes into learning a language because they were once students of the language themselves, which informs the very way they explain how it works to you. Native speakers or teachers with native-level fluency usually teach our higher-level classes. We love seeing our students flourish linguistically while having fun, making friends, and meeting new people!
