Keiko is a great teacher. She speaks slowly and really works to help you understand without giving you the answer. She provides help when needed but still challenges you to come up with the answer on your own. Highly recommend.

Matsumura-sensei is the best! In lessons, she's very encouraging and engaging — she makes lessons fun and I find myself looking forward to them each week. Outside of lessons, she's also super responsive with emails, and provides tons of resources to help you study between lessons.
Though, what I think I like most about her lessons is how she tailors them to your interests. In our first and second lessons, she asked me what interests and hobbies I have. I told her I really like folklore and superstitions, and since then most of the stories and videos she's sent me to use to study have centered around those topics. It definitely makes studying a lot more fun when it's tied in with other interests you already have!
100% recommend Matsumura-sensei! I've taken Japanese classes in college, but she's by far my favorite teacher/tutor I've ever had. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Thank you very much for your interest. I have flexible work hours so we can get together at your convenience. I offer Zoom (Facetime, Skype) for 30- 45-minute lessons, once a week or several times a week, depending on your needs. Please let me know if you need additional information and I look forward to working with you!

■Cancel policy
I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations and postponements are welcome without penalty given at least 24 hours of notice. Within 24 hours, students are welcome to cancel or postpone their lessons you will be charged the cancellation fee (50% through PayPal or Venmo)
