- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would like to first help with pressing questions. After getting a sense of where the student needs improvement, I come in and fill in the gaps that their professor or teacher had left out. I hope to let my students finish each session with confidence and optimism to face future problems.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an American born Chinese with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California and a MSed in Middle School Math Education. I also have a year's worth of study abroad experience in Beijing at Peking University. I am currently working as middle school/high school math teacher.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My brother encouraged me to give tutoring a try. My brother is a full-time organic chemistry, general chemistry, and physics tutor.
