I also have tutored students privately for the past 10 years and have volunteered in schools over this period. I love tutoring because it provides me the best perspective in order to understand the issues a scholar is having with a particular area and allows me to tailor my approach to fit the specific need. I also find that the proximity allows me to lift the confidence of the student by cutting away at the insecurity they harbor in not knowing the material. I exceled at math throughout my elementary and high school years, scoring a 730 on the Math portion of the SAT. I scored 100% on all but 2 of my Algebra 2 and Trigonometry exams in High School and all but 3 of my Pre-calculus ones. I've tutored elementary through high school students in mathematics for over 10 years. I have tremendous writing skills, marked by impeccable grammar and expressive ability. I'm a very gifted tutor as a result of my passion for education, strong quantitative abilities, expressive writing and tremendous interpersonal skills. I love inspiring scholars who struggle with confidence by finding the gaps in their understanding and encouraging them through their own realization of their abilities, which leads to a vigorous determination towards continued achievement.
