Introduction: Eva Redamonti is a New York artist who focuses on fine art, illustration, and animation, and she is also a multimedia artist and musician. Recognized by creative institutions like Adobe, the Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, and American Illustration, Eva specializes in digital art, illustration, and comics, as well as traditional inking techniques. Her artwork is often defined as surreal, detailed, and emotionally expressive. Much of her editorial illustration work revolves around topics such as mental health, futurism, and empowerment. To Eva, everyone is an artist. As an art educator and teacher, Eva aims to inspire her students by constantly expanding and sharing knowledge of various creative art techniques, tools, and artists. For her, having fun while learning in art classes is a crucial part to getting great ideas. Eva believes providing individual time and attention observing and critiquing each student’s artwork is critical for everyone’s learning and growth. By creating a caring, comfortable and relaxed classroom environment while cultivating a down-to-earth relationship with her students, Eva enjoys opening fruitful discussions around the artwork students create. She believes the process of art-making can be cultivated without fancy supplies or tools, and Eva loves to work creatively with whatever she can get her hands on. Eva has taught children and adults of all ages, and she has participated in noteworthy artist residency programs such as Adobe. Eva has collaborated with musicians and photographers, and she exhibits her work throughout New York City as well as globally. Eva received her Bachelors in Music in Boston, Massachusetts, and continued her studies of Illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Drawing Lessons

I hired Eve for art lessons for my 11 yr old and I together. Eve is always timely, has a happy and fun cheer all the time, and always working according to what my daughter prefers to do that day on a whim. Sometimes we do painting, other times just drawing while learning the foundations of art.

Drawing Lessons

My 10 year old son is really enjoying his art class with Eva. She keeps him engaged for an hour. Her teaching is very inspiring while still providing real art skills. He is very motivated to apply the techniques he's learned during class on his free time.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I offer $5-10 off my initial price based on the amount of lessons, student financial need, and willingness to travel to my studio. I do not offer discounts for students who need me to travel to their location.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I typically spend the first lesson getting to know your needs and focus on goal setting together. From there, I personalize my lessons to fit the teaching style, level, and personality of my student.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I graduated with an MFA from the Fashion institute of Technology. I am a Adobe Creative Residency Community Fund Recipient, I have awards from the Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, and Communication Arts.
