mende showed up right on time and sent me the most adorable videos of my pet rats. they looked so happy playing with her, and later so excited to see her come back. rats need a lot of love and trust and attention and the way mende runs her business, communicates, and loves the animals she takes care of, i felt confident my ratties had everything they needed

Mend from Hounds of Love Pet Care is wonderful!!! I have 2 cats and a dog at home, and they all LOVE her. <3 <3 <3Mend helps me walk my dog every week, and also helps to look after my cats when I am away or unable. Mend is reliable, always responsive, and so helpful and communicative, especially in emergency situations. For years, Ive trusted Hounds of Love to give my babies the care they deserve, and I cant recommend this business enough. Thank you Mend!!!

My household has utilized Mend's services for two years. We moved to Brooklyn with a 70 lb German Shepherd who is almost 7 years old, and three cats (ranging in age from 9 to 11 years). We were incredibly lucky to find Mend and I want to give her the most glowing endorsement possible. Our pets are our children, and she takes the best care of them; she's very conscientious about making sure our dog (who isnt usually a fan of other dogs or small children) enjoys fulfilling walks, while being kept out of any trouble. Shes given him and our cats medication in their food as needed and goes out of her way to send us videos and pictures when shes caring for them. Weve been fortunate to have Mend do walks and feedings on very short notice (not that I endorse that practice normally, emergencies just happen) and she has always made it work. Shes watched them for extended weekends too, which is especially amazing because we dont crate our dog and it can be hard to find a financially feasible caregiver for multiple days. Within the last year one of our cats developed a brain tumor and passed away. While he was starting to face more medical concerns Mend was there, making sure he was okay, feeding him special food, and making sure he was comfortable. She even sent us a beautiful hand-made card after he passed. Shes amazing and we are so lucky to have her; you would be too.

I always get a little nervous when leaving my fuzzy buddy behind, as I'm sure anyone does. Mend really helped ease that anxiety by keeping up regular communication and even videos and pictures!They immediately knew all the things they'd need to make sure my Cashew was totally taken care of while I was away. Clearly experienced, and obviously cares. Very grateful for someone so reliable and considerate to have taken care of my kitty cat!! You Rock Mend
