FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always like to accommodate my rates to client's budget. Normally I charge 100$ for the first hour and 50$ for the upcoming hours. With weddings the service is different, the customers always need more pictures, so the pricing becomes a bit different when talking about weddings or big events. On my packages I always offer some prints, I know we live in a digital world, but at least for me it's nice when the photographer print some big proofs for the clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I get hired, I always like to have a fluent conversation with the costumer, sharing different photo ideas, so the day of the shoot we are all on the same page. When doing weddings or big events I also like to meet the customer in person beforehand, it's easier if we talk in person about the exact type of images the customer is looking for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've studied journalism in Spain, then I traveled to Los Ángeles, where I graduated as a Multimedia Journalist, more focused on video. After a year working for a newspaper I realized photography was my real passion, I always liked video, but photography keeps me curious and surprised of how spontaneous a moment can be, so then I came to New York City to studied photography at the International Center of Photography, after a year of intense photography training, here I am, working for a wide range of clients, and enjoying every weekend of the work I've chosen to do.
