Introduction: I've been teaching drums/percussion and beginning - intermediate Piano for over 10 years for kids and adults. I am a professional percussionist and musician, and improviser and am very organized when I plan lessons. I am also flexible to open up the lessons to meet students' special needs as well. I always try my best to provide fun and worthful lessons. I am patient very good at communicating with students to make sure to meet their needs and make them happy. I am also a native speaker of Japanese, so if you are Japanese and want fully-Japanese lessons, I can provide them.

Nava was a true gem for our daughter when she started taking piano lessons at age 6. Nava always showed great patience in working with our daughter, especially after we went to online classes during the pandemic. But most importantly, she made piano fun and nurtured our daughter’s natural instincts and joy for music and learning. To help with online learning, Nava often sent video recordings of new songs, which our daughter loved and exemplified for us the care and attentiveness she shows her students.
