After admiring Anna's immaculately shot and dynamic work from afar, I knew she would be the perfect photographer to capture my quirky idea for a business branding photo shoot. We discussed my vision over two phone calls and deciphered what I wanted to get out of the session. We narrowed down the number of locations and made a plan of attack while also leaving room to improvise. I had several very specific visuals in mind, which helped give Anna a clear idea of what I wanted to capture. The photo shoot turned into a playful, collaborative experience that was truly enjoyable. Being photographed can feel odd, but Anna's artistic direction and cues made everything go smoothly and seem natural. Anna is a photography wizard with an amazing eye! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Evening portrait sessions begin at $350. I am based out of Brooklyn, so there may be a travel fee depending on where you are.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love this question! After a costumer has looked through my photos and website, we find a date that we are both available. To hold the date, I require 25% of the session payment upfront. A deposit of 50% is required to hold the date for a wedding (since it is usually far in advance). I'll send you a little questionnaire to fill out, a contract, and answer any questions you may have. I'm a bit of a fashionista, so for portraits I also love making outfit recommendations for our shoot!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After taking video and photo classes in college, I have assisted wedding photographers and videographers in Hawaii. There is where I learned the importance of a relaxing environment and a breezy shoot!
