Another factor that distinguishes me is I am a creative pioneer in my field. Being a life-long recruiter and former corporate HR professional, I know out of every 100 resumes submitted over 70% look like carbon copies of each other and 85% fail to connect to warrant real consideration. What irks me most is when a seemingly qualified candidates resume make him or her come across as being over or under qualified for the job.
Over the past few years, I have challenged existing resume conventions and expanded the bounds of resume writing by constructing new styles and formats and incorporating new approaches. I've come to the realization that writing a resume is all about marketing and branding and job search is today is all about how to build a network.
Developing a brand and message that tells an employer a story about a talent they should interview and hire excites me. I must say I am quite good at my craft and that will excites you as well when you see what I have done to make you stand out in a crowd.
Lastly, what I love about what I do is I am constantly learning something new as talent acquisition and its related technology continue to evolve. Moreover I love sharing this knowledge with others through my many blog posts and in the strategy sessions I have with my clients, and in workshops, seminars and webinars I am a part of.
