Just moved from Montclair NJ to Brooklyn NY these guys responded super fast. They came on time and boxed up all my kitchen stuff. I have so many heavy items glad they were able to move it all and they took extra precautions by wrapping all my appliances.(Dishwasher,dryer,2doorfridge freezer, a huge L couch, and a lot more) they were also super affordable. Thank you so much Basam for helping us move everything. Would definitely recommend!

I recently booked Bamstar Moving Helpers and had an excellent experience! The manager, Basam, was incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially with my last minute request for multiple stops. By far the worst moving experience I have ever had. This was an absolute ripoff and the movers were shockingly unprofessional. They initially quoted me a flat fee of $500, then decided to charge me an hourly rate of $150/hr + a packing fee on the day of the job once they determined the amount of work necessary (full cost of $1400).
I was requesting a full move including packing/boxing, which before I've had done in 4 hours max while these guys took double that. My place I moved out of was a small one bedroom with standard furniture and a few boxes of items, and just moving out of there took 6 hours. The rest of the move took an additional ~2 hours.
They also showed up completely unprepared with any sort of basic tools you would expect from movers like a simple screwdriver or an allen wrench. I had to go and get these tools for them, which killed at least an hour of time searching from store to store.
Once we got to the new place I was moving into, they parked such that it was blocking someone's driveway. This caused a heated argument with the residents there where they cussed and shouted insults at my new neighbors (great first impression).
On top of all this, they spilled a liquid bathroom item in a bag that contained the rest of my bathroom stuff and just left it behind as trash in front of my old place. Once they moved everything into the new place, I had to go back to the old one and retrieve my bathroom stuff before it was either stolen or picked up by a garbage truck.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS SERVICE.
Unprofessional, unprepared, painfully slow, and just plain incompetent.
