- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I like to sit down and talk about past experience and goals. Then we will explore your voice together and come up with some exercises to strengthen and improve your technique. Once we feel comfortable with the basics, we will start working on songs that help continue your journey.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Music (vocal performance) from Duke University, an MFA in Classical Acting from George Washington University, and a fancy certificate from NYVC Teacher Training. :)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been singing all my life! I began taking voice lessons in high school and never stopped. I've worked with some exceptional teachers and been lucky enough to perform some wonderful singing roles on stage. It was a natural extension for me to work with students. It is so fulfilling to help others on their wonderful singing journeys.
