Voice & Songwriting Lessons in Brooklyn/Online

Hello musical friends! My name is Hila, and my calling is to help you sing the way you’ve always dreamed of, and write the songs that will take your self-expression to the next level. As a performing singer-songwriter and a teacher who has worked with dozens of students over the years, I know what it feels like to be stuck. Maybe you can’t seem to figure out how to belt your favorite songs, your voice cracks when you reach for certain notes, or your range feels small and limiting. Maybe you want to sing in a different genre and have no idea where to start, or maybe you want to write a song you’re truly proud of for the first time. The good news is that together, we can get you unstuck. Using my wide toolbox of voice teacher trainings, jazz conservatory background, years of experience with students singing everything from rock to pop to R&B to jazz, and most importantly, your own unique voice and artistic identity, we will create together a plan that helps you grow in a way that feels sustainable, exciting, and tailored specifically to YOU. I also love working with trans and gender-diverse singers who are looking to sing in a way that feels more aligned with their identity, and have experience working with singers on testosterone as their voices change and evolve. I teach in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, am able to travel to you within Brooklyn and Manhattan, and am available online from anywhere in the world as well. Can’t wait to get to know you.
