Andrei has done a few job at our home.
1) He has installed a new backsplash to our kitchen. He delivered the job with utmost due diligence. He made sure to not damage cabinets or appliances and cleaned after himself.
2) He opened up a wall to extend one of our closets and installed a sliding door including moldings.
3) He replaced vanities in two bathrooms. There was a difficulty fitting the new vanities due to plumbing configuration and wall space, but Andrei took his time to install them properly rather than taking any shortcuts to finish it quickly.
Overall, we have been very pleased to work with Andrei and Tatiana throughout the whole project. I’d 100% recommend working with Andrei, he strives to deliver high-quality work. Thank you!

Most of us would be pleased to have a job go smoothly, but with Straight Home Construction, you can expect so much more. The immense attention to detail, the symmetry, smooth transitions, raise Andrei’s tile work to an art form. He was able to not only install tiles of different thicknesses onto the same wall flawlessly, he was able to reinforce my 100+ year old kitchen flooring so I could replace the rubber tiles I had with porcelain ones. The perfectly executed edging in my shower, the corners, everything is so perfect I just want to sit there and stare. The work is so beautiful. Straight Home Construction is a rare gem.

I hope in this review that I can convey how highly I think of Andrei Moroz, owner of Straight Home Construction, based in Brooklyn, for the work he did in our apartment, a two-bedroom, two-bathroom in a pre-war coop on the Upper West Side. We were toying with the idea of selling it but realized we needed to make a few fixes before putting it on the market. Specifically, re-tile the shower in one bathroom and fix a wall in the abutting bedroom where there was a lot of water damage from that shower. It was apparent from the first week that Andrei does exceptional work. He is hard-working, meticulous and focused on quality, and frankly, one of the nicest people we have ever met. He has a network of excellent workers that he brings in as the job requires. His sister Tatiana is his office manager/rep and she is a treasure. Communication was seamless. Once we saw the outstanding quality of Andrei's work, and the reasonable prices he charged, the job in our apartment morphed from what I wrote above to a full renovation of the two bathrooms, demolition of the existing kitchen cabinets, complete prep of the kitchen walls for new cabinetry, complete prep and tiling of the kitchen floor, rewiring throughout the apartment, plumbing work in both bathrooms, removing and replacing old moldings, prepping and painting the entire apartment (the ceilings and walls are now flawless), and more. Basically, we renovated the entire apartment, at a very reasonable cost. It is gorgeous now. There is nothing this man can’t do. He is a true master and we feel so lucky to have found him. I should add that we have renovated before, another apartment in the same building in NYC, and two houses in MA, so we have experience with contractors and have seen it all, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Andrei has been, hands-down, the best of all. We are so happy with the apartment now that we are not selling it, we've moved back in. We cannot recommend Andrei, Tatiana, and Straight Home Construction highly enough.
