Lou goes the extra mile in a lot of ways and he's very experienced. Very fast turnaround with the edit. He stayed a few hours longer on shoot then originally envisioned and I really appreciate that. My project was a little unusual as it was a real estate listing and had it's own challenges. He gave me an extra cut from the original 2 we had agreed when he saw I'd probably need longer cut than what I originally planned. But when I got the cut he tried to not give me revision/editing time that we had already agreed to and wanted to charge me extra $. But he did give me that time and didn't charge extra and was super cooperative when cutting and we ran slightly over the time agreed. I'm happy with final product, different from what I envisioned but it works for me. The price for what I got was very reasonable.

Lou is a true professional all the way from the first correspondence we had to the end of the video shoot. He's easy to communicate with, prompt, on task, extremely patient and helpful. He showed up to the concert site earlier to set up his equipment, check out the lighting and sound of the room to determine what was the best equipment to use. In addition, he ran me through what was going to happen from A to Z before and after the shoot. I'm now looking forward to his post-production work from my Chamber Music (woodwind trio) concert that he filmed so I can post the footage on my website. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of my quotes in the radius of 50 miles from Manhattan INCLUDE transportation costs. I do not offer discounts if client does not want DVDs but does want USB copies, its the same time to edit and compress the video.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would appreciate talking on the phone at the client's convenience to discuss all the details about their production, event or recital. Pre production is very important to me and is essential to getting the best image on the screen with the best audio.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors in Music and have worked extensively in Educational Media for NYU where I worked for 25yrs until 2016. Tasks included: shooting and editing, maintaining VIMEO, YOU TUBE accounts for various departments at NYU Steinhardt. Former Steadicam Owner / Operator (Modified SK2 rig 1998-2008) member SOA
