- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you vibe with the person. We can forget that the basic, fundamental human relationship is crucial in having an effective business relationship. If you like how I sound, or how anyone that you're hiring sounds, and feel like you resonate with me or them, go for it. Otherwise, don't. Trust your body, your heart.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish that customers knew that we, as Tech Support Consultants, are human, too. We don't always know the answers right away. Sometimes we get stumped, too! Believe it or not, it's true. I suppose what makes us good at our job though, is that we have the analytical skills, the troubleshooting skills, to dig our ways out of it. We don't take "stuck" for an answer.
