FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing includes the photoshoot, as well as post-processing hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start out by asking the specifics they desire for their photo shoot and dive further into the details to ensure I understand completely what it is they are looking for. I may ask them to provide examples of styles they like or styles they desire for their final images. I will also do research of my own (if necessary) to help the customer visualize my concept before we get started. Then we move forward with scheduling and completing the photoshoot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended the Rochester Institute of Technology and received my BFA in Fine Art Photography. I worked for 4 years at SmugMug in Mountain View California. I started out as an intern, assisting the president of the company with post-processing, image stitching, and photo shoots. Throughout my years there I moved into a full-time position where I was the Company and Brand/Marketing Photographer. I have worked on everything from family portraits, to product photography, to events, to lifestyle and so on. I was able to experience and explore many different styles of photography within my last job.
