I have been teaching for ten years and love working with young scholars. I am certified in Orton-Gillingham Reading as well as countless different reading programs and curriculums. I love working with scholars and helping them build the skills and knowledge to fall in love with reading and writing.
I have worked with scholars to increase their fluency in Math to bring them to grade level. Through games and activities and hands on learning, scholars can reach their highest potential.

Celeste was absolutely wonderful while tutoring my son in both reading and math. She was easy to communicate with, timely, and professional. More importantly, she was incredibly responsive to my son's needs and frequently adjusted her methods of teaching to best fit his unique learning styles. It was so heartwarming to see my son start to enjoy learning again and have confidence in himself, all because Celeste believed in him. My second grade daughter strongly benefited working with Ms. Jacobsen. Her reading and writing skills needed reinforcement throughout the school year and Ms. Jacobsen helped to do that. Our experience was very professional and also fun! She really cared about my daughter’s educational growth.
