Introduction: Our interior design and organizing service is perfect for homeowners and young professionals looking to set up and redesign their living space. We also reenact mom and dads home in their new senior residence. We service Manhattan, The Hamptons, North and South Shore of Long Island, Connecticut, and Westchester. The initial consultation is $200 in person (INTERIOR DESIGN ONLY). Our services include: • Assessing client’s needs, the scope of work, function of space, and individual style • RE-PURPOSE and integrate client’s current belongings • Advice on space planning • Thoughtfully declutter and organize • Senior Residence Interior Design to match the client's home • Specify, source, and procure new household items, decor elements, and furnishings • Assist in choosing paint colors, wall and floor coverings, color schemes, materials, etc. • Function as project manager/owner’s representative • Delivery and installation coordination and oversight • Working together with any professional moving company that you hire • Organizing a housekeeper (NOT included in price) Hope to speak to you soon, Laura Jasper

Interior Design

I've just moved and have been feeling overwhelmed with tasks and fatigue. I hired Laura to help me organize closets which I'd filled with a lot of things in order to clear floor space. We spent two hours working well together, and everything ended up beautifully organized. Laura is a lovely person, too, and clearly cares about what she does.

Amazing experience with Laura. Rare skills and talent. Very amiable person and frequently checks to make sure her ideas and suggestions are not hurting anybody personally. She shopped for us at containers store. We told her we don’t want any plastic and she nicely blended with our requests. We redeemed our kitchen back to life and we learnt how to organize our closet and kitchen in our new home. Glad we got to meet you Laura.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    The initial consultation is $200 dollars at your home which lasts around two hours. We talk about design and budget and I measure your space. My design fee is $100 dollars an hour. The fee includes my time spent in your home and doing research for your design project. My moving fee is $100 dollars an hour which includes supervised packing and unpacking, organizing with a housekeeper (paid separately), and styling your new home. THE FEES DO NOT INCLUDE THE MOVING COMPANY

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    First I go to a client's home or apartment. I assess the job at hand, and I estimate the amount of days it is going to take to complete the job. When designing, I will evaluate what needs to be purchased and what can be repurposed to fit your space. I will also help you see potential in places that can be organized and decluttered. When helping a client move, I explain how I will oversee the entire process, putting the client at ease knowing it will get done in a timely and organized manner.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I went to design school in Montreal and I have been doing this line of work for twenty years and each day of work is a joy for me.
