- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always taking trainings and earning certifications in my spare time. It is important to stay up to date on locations and what they can offer my clients.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I actually fell into being a travel agent through another agent. I am a traveler. I always have been. I was at a crossroads in life and decided to take the plunge. It was the best decision I ever made.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do not use a travel agent that charges a fee. All agents are paid by the vendors a commission and you should not be paying them a fee for their services. Look for training and credential certificates.
