Evis is a great trainer with a lot of knowledge about Kickboxing and martial arts in general He is very easygoing and has a laid back personality but don’t let that fool you:) He can really push you to the max As an intermediate level student I found his method to be interesting His aproach is very methodical and challenging which is what I was looking for As far as training intensity he can really get the best out of you with a very calm way I had so much fun on my first day and really enjoyed his teaching

Martial arts have been a part of my life for nearly 30 years. I have studied in many different schools over the years. For nearly the least 15 years, I have studied at the East Morris Karate Academy. Prior schools taught martial arts strickly in a physical combat point of view. East Morris Karatae Academy does teach such physical self defense, but also teaches martial arts as a way of life. Very few of us have to actually defend our lives in hand to hand combat. The training at East Morris Karate Academy help us learn how to defend ourselves against the continual stresses of life that we all face.

Tang Soo Do is a wonderful martial art that provides great discipline, self respect, flexibility and a great source of weight loss. The teachers at Valley Karate are fantastic and they provide a variety of different instructions in line work, terminology, forms, one-step self defense techniques and grabs. They make themselves available for any help or support that is needed by any student. Valley Karate provides a great family inclusion aspect with Parents Night, Buddy Week and Family day. They also hold kids tournaments that make each of them winners no matter what happens and will be holding their first school tournament next Saturday, March 26th. Master Bergers is a superb role model for all the kids and adults, as well as all the other Masters and Dans. Finally, the students all aspire for Black Belt excellence at whatever level they are.
