Electrical and Wiring Repair

Jim Dombrowski says, "I cannot thank Johnson Electric enough for their service. Over the weekend, I had a serious electrical issue with my circuit service box and 1 of the main lines in essentially wearing out and failing causing the lights in my house and other electrical devices to flicker and turn on and off. What I didnt realize initially was how close I was to a risk of fire. Anyways, I have service contracts with some other local electricians because we also own apartment buildings and after the issue occurred I called those companies and NONE had any emergency service on the weekend. Finally we found Johnson electric and they came promptly, identified a serious problem (about half of my my 150 amp service panel was failing and we actually need to upgrade to code and a 200 amp box, something that could not be completed yesterday, but will be addressed asap this week). The techs name is Ronnie and he was prompt, professional, thorough, and kind enough to walk me through the repair, explain the issues, the resolution of the problem and then how it would be addressed. He even put me on a call with his supervisor Tom Pittz and the 2 of them worked through the entire electrical problem with me. They did a temporary fix, restored most of my electrical service through the good side of the circuit box and explained the full resolution to me. Neither guy ever tried to pressure or hard sell me on them completing the work, all they cared about was restoring my power temporarily and in a safe enviroment. To make things more stressful, we have been remodeling our home and all new kitchen appliances are scheduled to arrive today; something that would not have been possible without their help. The emergency call was Sunday late in the day. They were at my home within an hour because there was a prior emergency call before me. Ronnie was an outstanding extremely knowledgeable electrician, on the call Tom was professional and thorough in his explanation. It took about 2 hours to resolve the temporary fix. When I got the bill for emergency service I was very surprised by how fair and reasonable their cost was. Needless to say, but I cannot recommend these guys highly enough to you. In my lifetime of dealing with trade techs I have never been more pleased or more impressed with anyone as much as Johnson Electrical, Ronnie and Tom.Let me add one more point; I am waiting for their detail estimate to replace my existing service with a new 200 amp circuit box that is fully compliant with electrical code and above all safe for my family. I have other service contractors, but assuming their estimate is in line with our discussion last night, I will be having Johnson Electric finish the complete repair and from here on out they will be getting all of our electrical work both here at our home and at our apartments. And I will recommend them highly to my friends, family, neighbors and anyone else who will listen.Job well done and thank you so much for being their when we needed your service for our emergency."See more
