FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At TwoPoint Construction, our pricing is based on the scope, complexity, and compliance requirements of each project. We provide clear, detailed estimates so our clients understand exactly what they’re paying for — no vague numbers or surprise add-ons. We do not believe in “lowball” pricing to win a job and then increasing costs later. Our proposals reflect quality workmanship, proper materials, and code-compliant installation. Free estimates are available for most standard renovation projects. For detailed scope evaluations, violation corrections, or permit-related assessments, a consultation fee may apply and is credited back if the project moves forward. We also offer discounted pricing for multi-unit properties, rental turnovers, and repeat clients. Our goal is to deliver strong value — not just the lowest number
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is simple, organized, and transparent: 1. Initial Consultation We start with a phone call to understand your goals, timeline, and budget. If needed, we schedule an on-site visit to assess the space and identify any structural, mechanical, or compliance considerations. 2. Detailed Scope & Estimate After evaluating the project, we provide a written estimate outlining the scope of work, materials, timeline, and pricing. If permits or building department approvals are required, we explain that upfront. 3. Planning & Compliance (If Needed) For projects requiring permits or violation corrections, our affiliated compliance division (NYPCS) helps coordinate filings and approvals so the project runs smoothly and avoids delays. 4. Construction Phase Once approved, we schedule the project and maintain clear communication throughout. We focus on clean job sites, organized workflow, and completing work properly the first time. 5. Final Walkthrough & Completion At the end of the project, we walk through everything with the client to ensure satisfaction and address any final adjustments. Our goal is to make the process straightforward, professional, and stress-free from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our background is built on over a decade of hands-on construction experience and real-world project management. The construction side of the company has worked under multiple established contractors before operating independently for 10+ years, managing residential renovations, rental turnovers, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring installations, and full interior remodels. This experience includes coordinating subcontractors, understanding code requirements, estimating accurately, and delivering projects on schedule. On the compliance and operations side, our team has extensive experience assisting property owners in navigating local building departments, resolving violations, and understanding permit requirements. Strong back-office management ensures projects stay organized, scheduled properly, and financially structured for smooth execution. Our experience is practical, field-tested, and built around completing projects correctly, efficiently, and in compliance with local regulations.
