Where do I start! I hired Jelani a few days prior to my husbands birthday dinner celebration at home on 6/10/22. He responded quickly and within a few hours he emailed me a list of cocktails to choose from. Something came up last minute (parents of a toddler) and it caused me to run a bit late. Jelani was understanding and helped me as I put together some last minute decorations. He was super professional, clean, and a master at his craft . He came with his whole set up and we were able to learn how make a few of the cocktails. Just wow. He set the mood with great conversation and it felt like we were having a friend over for dinner and drinks. One of my fav cocktails is his signature cocktail Boozy Summer Bomb. I was humming as I was sipping each cocktail. My husband and I are amateur drinkers and I was afraid we were going to wake up with a yucky hung over- nope not with Jelani’s behind the bar! Do not hesitate to hire Jelani for your next event. He will not disappoint.

Where to begin! I'll start off by saying, "HIRE THIS PRO!". Honestly, Jelani MADE our experience- and that experience being one of the most important days of our lives-our wedding! What a professional, truly a man of his craft. We had a very last minute wedding ceremony in our backyard and Jelani accommodated us in every aspect- initial phone call, contract with all expectations laid out clearly, customized alcohol shopping list, created our signature drinks (drinks made to order ALL night!), and set up/broke down bar so swiftly and efficiently. Having a bartender who makes the effort to understand his clients and engage the crowd is so vital. He helped us make memories that will last a lifetime. All our guests were so impressed and we are so grateful. Thank you, Jelani!!

I booked Jelani for my girlfriends birthday party and he really made it amazing. Everyone kept coming up to us to talk about how great he was and complimented the drinks. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing varies, depending on your event's specific needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Making sure our clients and guests feel comfortable is our utmost priority. We also want to ensure we keep you as stress-free as possible.
We first would love to organize a time that we can speak over the phone to briefly discuss the details of their event as well as any questions they may have.
Once we agree on the details on what we will provide as well as solidify pricing, we require that you sign both a contract, which will be emailed to you once you send us your information, and make a 50% deposit of the total amount that was agreed upon.
After both parties sign and the deposit is made, we can then move forward with then scheduling a more thorough consultation to begin discussing the Signature Cocktail Menu and all other questions that you will have about bar service and efficiency for your upcoming event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over a decade of experience on what goes on behind-the-bar. We also have a formal professional license as well as Liquor Liability Insurance, of which proof can be provided upon request.
