Vita found her passion for hospitality working in several well-renowned restaurants in Europe. She brought her passion across the pond and has had great success managing events over the past 10 years for some of the top catering companies in New York City. Vita has directed countless events from dinner parties for two to charity galas with over 2,000 guests and her vision for La Dolce Vita Events & Catering is to create events with a fusion of Old World charm and exceptional service with today's modern elegance and culinary innovation.

Vita & Scott are consummate professionals when comes to planning and managing a wedding reception. Right from the start, my husband and I were pleased with our interactions with Vita & Scott. They were very organized which put us at ease and they helped us with lots of details like how to lay out the space and what was the proper timeline. The menu Vita created for us fit both our tastes and the presentation was exceptional. So many of our guests commented that the food and service was the best they’d seen. We had budget restrictions and Scott was able to deliver a great value. I can’t recommend Vita & Scott at La Dolce Vita Events enough.

La Dolce Vita recently catered an event for our company. The food tasted as good as it looked and Vita was able to accommodate several diet restrictions including gluten-free, vegan and nut allergies. Scott helped us every step of the way and the party went off exactly as planned. We will definitely use La Dolce Vita Events for our next party.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After securing the bid, we communicate with our clients to obtain additional details regarding the event. This includes specific menu desires and the layout of the venue. We follow up in the weeks preceding the event for event updates from our clients and to assure them that we are on schedule. The day of the event is a whirlwind for us and we keep our clients informed as to what we are doing to make their event special.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Scott has 20 years of executive management and leadership experience in several industries including catering and interior design. He has worked in dozens of venues in Manhattan and the Hamptons and with the very best vendors the city has to offer. Scott has demonstrated the ability to effectively manage the behind the scenes planning that goes into preparing an event while delivering strong financial value.
