- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge monthly tuition for 44 lessons per year, allowing you to budget the same amount for lessons throughout the year. We also offer a 10% discount for lessons longer than 30 minutes, including for siblings or parents. You can start or stop at any time, so there's no annual or semi-annual commitments.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to learn about the new student first and then come up with a choice of teachers that we think will work well. We'll cross check that with your address and available times and find a great teacher who can come to your home for lessons.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our teachers have degrees in music performance and significant experience teaching young students through adult students. Many have advanced degrees and certifications. You can read each teacher's bio on our website at citystrings.com/nyc.
