Introduction: Hi! My name is Ben, and I would like to be your new chess instructor. I am a Financial Analyst at a premier firm in New York City, however I have played chess competitively my entire life (USCF National Expert: rating: 2130, FIDE Rating: 2123), and love teaching chess on the side to people who are genuinely interested in learning about this wonderful game. I have taught students of all ages and ability levels, and currently teach two students, ages 6 and 9, who are among the top players nationally in their respective age groups.
