Exceptional service - my experience with Kira, Miguel, and the Animal Allies team has been a blessing for both me and my dog. They really catered to our needs and showed such compassion and dedication. I signed my dog up for the "energy-buster" package, which he benefitted from tremendously. I really felt safe leaving him in their care and appreciated their professionalism and consistency, the interactive digital updates, and the useful feedback regarding any questions or concerns. Scheduling and payments are easy to manage, and the specialized package pricing is unbeatable - especially since they really go above and beyond to customize routines based on your pet's specific needs. Miguel, who ended up walking my dog every week, was an absolute lifesaver, he took outstanding care of Alfie and always made sure that they had a lot of fun on their outings. Overall, this experience has been extremely positive, and I cannot recommend them enough. These folks genuinely love animals and care about enriching their lives, and it makes all the difference. It has made me so happy to see my dog so much happier, and for that, I cannot thank Animal Allies enough.

Kira is absolutely amazing; great with my dog, arrives on time, and sends a photo and summary of the walk every day.

Kira is a very attentive and caring dog sitter. Her love for animals was evident from the first moment she met our pup to the last minutes they spent together. She is responsible and professional, and at the same time kind and warm. Highly recommended!

Kira was great with our two cats. It was nice to get photos and detailed updates after each visit. The cats were relaxed and happy when we got home. We'll definitely work with Kira again.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

REGULAR WALKS - $15 for half an hour, add $3 for each additional fifteen minutes up to 90 minutes. Puppies under 6 months get $3 off rates. OCCASIONAL & WEEKEND WALKS - $18 for half an hour, add $3 for each additional fifteen minutes up to 90 minutes.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Initial contact is made by email, then we may move to phone or Skype discussion if the customer wishes. I offer free Meet and Greets and free consults with no obligation, which we can arrange according to your schedule.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I began working with dogs when I adopted my first rescue dog at fourteen, and was inspired by that experience to begin handling dogs professionally. I went to work at a full-service animal hospital when I was still a teenager, and became the kennel manager there in less than a year. I learned that I loved working with animals, especially the ones who were frightened or aggressive, because it gave me the chance to connect and make them feel safe.
