- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A standard 60-minute in-person lesson is $70. I offer packages of five in-person lessons for $325 and ten lessons for $600. Online lessons are $60 per hour. A travel fee may apply for lessons at the student’s home depending on location.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before we begin, I ask about the student’s goals, experience, musical interests, equipment and learning preferences. The first lesson helps me understand their current strengths and choose a practical starting point. From there, I create a personalized plan combining technique, coordination, timing and musical application, with clear practice priorities between lessons.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Performance from Berklee College of Music. My training includes drum set, Mediterranean, Afro-Cuban and West African percussion and contemporary styles such as rock, funk, jazz, R&B and fusion. My studies and masterclasses have included work with Dave DiCenso, Mark Walker, Eguie Castrillo, Kenwood Dennard and Jamey Haddad.
