š¹ Learn to Play. Learn to Learn. Make Music for Life. š„
Looking for more than someone who simply tells you what notes to play?
Iām Greg LaRosa, a Juilliard-trained professional musician and educator offering personalized online piano and drum lessons for beginners of all ages.
My goal is to help students build a real foundation in music while keeping lessons engaging, creative, and fun. Weāll learn to read music, develop strong fundamentals, and play the music that gets you excited!
I want you to leave each lesson with the tools and confidence to explore, solve problems, and make music.
I place a special emphasis on making practice more productive and enjoyable. Instead of simply saying, āPractice this five times,ā I teach students how to practiceāhow to listen, experiment, break down challenges, and make progress.

š About Me
Iām a graduate of The Juilliard School and a professional performer. Iāve performed and taught throughout North America, Asia, and Europe and have worked with students of all ages and experience levels.
My teaching experience includes work with The Juilliard Schoolās Music Advancement Program, the Colburn Schoolās Jumpstart Young Musicians Program, New York City public schools, and a private studio of students learning online and in person.
But impressive credentials only matter if they help me become a better teacher for you.
My goal is simple: help you build the skills, confidence, and curiosity to enjoy making music for the rest of your life.
š© I currently have a limited number of openings for new students (only on Tuesdays and Thursdays), and am selective about the students I take on. Reach out and tell me a little about who will be taking lessons and what youād like to learn!
