I have been a professional photographer for 18 years. I have managed my own portrait studio in Australia for 12 years and since moving to the USA 8 years ago, I’m now a one-man band. I booked Kurt for my nieces sweet 16 a week before the event after my initial photographer had to cancel. I could not be any happier with how my photos came out. They are beautiful! Kurt was such a lovely photographer, he was punctual and on time! He was very attentive and professional, he was sweet to myself and all the guest, all the little children loved him too! He captured our guest and the birthday princess so wonderfully! I was nervous about how the photos would go but it turned out to be so amazing! Thank you Kurt for capturing such a beautiful moment for my niece and taking photos that myself and my family will cherish forever!!! If you need a sign that he’s the photographer to book with, use this review as a definite yes!! Thank you!!!!

Kurt was truly amazing. He started off by making sure a date and time was appropriately marked on our calendars. He proceeded with taking the time to jump on a call with me so we can discuss my plans on the engagement proposal. He offered a few tips and came up with some unique ideas during the photo shoot. Kurt was punctual and arrived at the perfect time for us to walk through the surprise proposal play by play, and he made everything a seamless process. His quality of work and professionalism is top tier. It was truly a pleasure working with your Kurt, thanks for making this moment special for us! And the pictures came out perfect (Kurt sent me all the pictures with multiple edits)!!!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was an actor first. Then started to play with cameras in my 20s and all my actor mates started to ask me to take their actor’s headshots. Pretty soon I was one of the go-to photographers for the Australian theater TV and film industries
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Many photographers have lovely profiles of young pretty models. That’s easy to do! I have always prided myself on photographing anyone and everyone and bringing out their inner beauty and confidence. Leave modeling to the pros haha
