Instructional Designer Math Instructor - Remote I am a certified teacher with over 10 years of experience working with students of diverse ages. I started tutoring Math in middle school and continued into college at the Shippensburg University Learning Center. I became a public school teacher after graduating. After a few years, I decided to work independently and switched back to private tutoring in 2019. I have a master's degree in Entertainment Industry Management from Carnegie Mellon University. I was also the highest performing mathematics teacher in the Charlotte Mecklenburg school district in 2019. I leveraged these experiences to create interactive, engaging lessons with up-to-date practice (say goodbye to that textbook from the 1980's!) - I build engaging curriculum from scratch. - I create educational videos and interactive experiences and activities. - I use real-world lesson application, so anyone can relate. - I work at an individualized pace and cater to all learners, including those with disabilities (or diverse abilities). - I explain problems in multiple different ways to help students. - I update lessons in real-time if there is confusion.
