I am a certified teacher with over 10 years of experience working with students of diverse ages. I started tutoring Math in middle school and continued into college at the Shippensburg University Learning Center. I became a public school teacher after graduating. After a few years, I decided to work independently and switched back to private tutoring in 2019.
I have a master's degree in Entertainment Industry Management from
Carnegie Mellon University. I was also the highest performing mathematics teacher in the Charlotte Mecklenburg school district in 2019. I leveraged these experiences to create interactive, engaging lessons with up-to-date

Megan has helped my daughter tremendously with Math and French for the last two years. She has a positive influence towards my daughter's attitude with her schoolwork. Megan helped my son over the summer for 8 weeks. She developed a Geometry curriculum and worked with him in covering most topics in a thorough manner. From the start, Megan was inquisitive in learning about my son’s learning style and figuring out on how to engage him (which was brilliant as she provided math puzzles and brain teasers which he loved!). She also asked and shared materials with me to make sure the topics covered, and level of rigor was in par with my expectations. My son loved and thrived throughout the 8 weeks summer lessons Megan has crafted as a perfect fit for him. She has provided us timely summaries of the progress he was making which was awesome. I provide free consultation and half off your first lesson. You pay per lesson. That means no upfront payment or package cost.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
No student is the same- some do better with repetition, others thrive with hands-on experience. That is why I start by getting to know you and how you learn best. I provide an evaluation to see what level you are currently performing at and use that in parallel with your learning goals to create a curriculum just for you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed 6-9 mathematics teacher with a language tutor certificate.
